SÉANCE is the culmination of Shannon Taggart's 16-year long project on modern Spiritualism. 16 years in the making, part documentary, part ghost story, SÉANCE blurs the boundary between anthropology and art with an unprecedented look at the religion of Spiritualism.


SHANNON TAGGART is a photographer and independent researcher based in Brooklyn, New York. Her photographs have been exhibited and featured internationally, including within the publications TIME, New York Times Magazine, Discover and Newsweek.
