Davey Du Plessis, an avid cyclist and paddler, wanted to solo navigate the full length of the Amazon river by kayak from its source in the Andes of Peru to the Atlantic ocean in Brazil. After about 2 months and 2000 kilometers, his amazing adventure took a dark turn.
