The Book of Boba Fett reintroduced the relationship between Boba Fett and Cad Bane. Bane was mentored by Jango Fett, and Boba was mentored by Cad Bane. The two had an interesting relationship and I'd definitely like to see more of it in future shows and perhaps Boba Fett season 2.
Also, now that a few days have passed, I can finally release this podcast. Having touched upon it briefly in the Book of Boba Fett Episode 7 breakdown, I gotta say, I don’t think Cad Bane is dead.
