Description

Have you ever wondered how to introduce children to science? Do you believe that children should grow in an environment that fosters critical thinking skills and curiosity? J.R. will discuss how he grew up in an Orthodox Jewish household, and became a secular author of humanist science children’s book series entitled Annabelle & Aiden.
J.R. Becker Holds a BA in Philosophy, and a Juris Doctorate from Emory University's School of Law. After becoming a father, J.R. was inspired to author the Annabelle & Aiden children's book series. The first book, on evolution, was banned by Christian World News, and went on to become a #1 Bestseller on Amazon. Since it launched in late 2016, the 6-book series has won various awards, raised $70,000 on Kickstarter, and has sold over 20,000 copies. Joseph lives in New Jersey with his wife Leah, and two children, Annabelle & Aiden.
Hosted by Amaia Perez, the RfR Online Programming Director, and Eric Wells, the RfR Support Group Director.
