Cork’s Eoin 'The Pope' O'Mahony was an Irish barrister and political satirist. An Honorary life member of the TCD philosophy society, he occasionally broadcast on Radio Eireann. He entered politics trying and failing to be nominated in the 1952 and 1966 presidential elections (First Broadcast 1970)
