Description
Lisa Marie Young went out for a friend's birthday in 2002. She was last seen leaving a party to get something to eat. Though the RCMP waited months to begin ground searches, the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation showed up in Nanaimo, BC to search for her immediately. But 19 years later, Lisa remains one of the hundreds of missing Indigenous women in North America.
