Of all the people to cross Anakin’s path, Qui-Gon stood out as someone who was very influential in connecting with the boy. There was a strong bond between the two and if their relationship hadn’t ended prematurely, who knows how it could have changed Anakin’s destiny. Qui-Gon had a strong belief in Anakin.
