A controversial new Texas law that bars abortions at six weeks went into effect early Wednesday morning after the Supreme Court failed to rule on emergency requests brought by abortion providers. Republicans are turning up the pressure for House minority leader Kevin McCarthy to impeach President Biden. Pennsylvania GOP Rep. Scott Perry claimed that allowing “poorly-vetted” Afghan refugees into the U.S. could lead to “little girls raped and killed in the streets.” A man working out of his apartment in Las Vegas has been arrested for selling a miracle bleach solution that supposedly cures COVID-19, cancer, and autism.
