The news that Jamie Foxx would be playing Electro in the upcoming Tom Holland MCU Spider-Man 3, the followup to Spider-Man Far From Home, was followed by speculation that Kirsten Dunst would return as Mary Jane Watson from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, and Dane Dehaan as Green Goblin from the The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Along with JK Simmons returning as J Jonah Jameson in the Far From Home post-credit scene, all of this is further evidence of a live-action Spiderverse in the works, that could lead to a live-action Miles Morales in this next Spider-Man film.
