A bipartisan group of US Senators Brian Schatz, John Thune, Raphael Warnock, and John Kennedy proposed a bill Wednesday called the Unsubscribe Act. Companies would be required to make terms and conditions more transparent when offering a free trial. US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand has revamped the Data Protection Act she introduced last year.
