Description

In this episode, we have a great conversation with UCSB PhD candidate and Environmental Historian Elijah Bender.  Elijah's focus is on resource management in Kai province, the domain of the Takeda clan and Takeda Shingen.   The discussion ranges from how resource issues effect people at the local level to the highest levels of the Takeda clan, and how the management of resources effect all levels of planning and decision making for a Sengoku Daimyo.  This episode is part one of our discussion, and part two will follow in about two weeks.
