Description
John Godfrey had everything going for him. He was fresh out of high school, enrolled in college, and pursuing his passion as the newest and youngest member of local Victoria, Texas rock-n-roll band Southern Wind. But days before his 19th birthday, on December 4th, 1976, John headed to the south of town, a place known as “Under the Hill,” and disappeared. John’s family, bandmates, and many friends found his abandoned station wagon just south of that area the following day, but the 18-year-old was nowhere to be found. At least not yet.
