Today's episode is with Charlie Harding.Charlie Harding, one of the tallest kids in his grade, often acted his height rather than his age. He taught himself how to program and spent nearly a decade working on a website that transformed the world wide web into one big scavenger hunt.Charlie’s love for the digital world would later translate into a passion for travel. He loved exploring different cultures and connecting with strangers. Travel also brought Charlie closer to his older brother, Mike Harding.The idea of bringing scavenger hunts from the internet to the outdoors happened while Charlie and his brother were traveling together. They thought a scavenger hunt would be the funnest way to engage with their new environment.Let’s Roam scavenger hunts have spread to over 400 cities around the world, enjoyed by thousands of adventurous travelers and hometown explorers.On each scavenger hunt, questions, facts and photo challenges are tied together with a smartphone app. Everyone works together to answer questions, learn about their surroundings and take quirky team photos.
