Dr. Chris Reed received his Master’s of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s College in 2000 and his transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy through Evidence in Motion in 2019.  He received Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedics in 2006. Dr. Reed is a co-owner and CFO of Agile Physical Therapy, where he has helped to lead a transition to virtual care during the COVID crisis.  He also serves as the Government Affairs Chair for the California Physical Therapy Association and as a Delegate to the House of Delegates for the American Physical Therapy Association. 



Dr. Burke-Doe specializes in pediatric physical therapy and brings more than 20 years of physical therapy experience to her position. Prior to joining the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, she served as an assistant professor at California State University, Fresno. Dr. Burke-Doe has also served as rehabilitation director for Regency Healthcare and physical therapist in various hospital and private clinic environments including Rady Children’s Hospital, Dameron Hospital, Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc., and Sunny Days, an early intervention provider.



Dr. Lee has served as the secretary of Telerehabilitation SIG for the American TelemedicineAssociation and currently is the vice chair of technology SIG for HPA, the Catalyst. Alan is the telehealth group leader for Frontiers in Rehabilitation Science and Technology (FiRST) Council of APTA. His telehealth research includes international pediatric teleconsultation and he has co-authored several telehealth publications. Dr. Lee maintains clinical practice at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego with dual board-certifications in geriatrics and wound management.

Meeting clients/caregivers/patients where they are (home, office, community) to provide services that are needed and may not be otherwise available is powerful!  



Telehealth provides a resources for appropriate clients and students can learn as well.  



Telehealth is like any other tool in your tool box....it takes practice practice and more practice to become proficient.



Be sure you know the laws of the land. Check your state practice act to ensure you are practicing appropriately.



Telehealth is not just for this time of COVID....it is a delivery model that is here to stay for the long haul.
