Description
As most of the world hunkers down at home, the need for energy has tumbled. The numbers are dramatic: Oil prices are down 66% from a year ago. In the U.S., demand for gasoline is the lowest it's been since 1968, and the average price at the pump is now just $1.86. But instead of helping consumers, the lower prices are imperiling the entire economy. Alex Eule is joined by Avi Salzman, who covers energy for Barron's. Produced by Katie Ferguson and Mette Lützhøft.
