Former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, is based in Italy, with his wife Callista who is the United States Ambassador to the Vatican. He is at the epicenter of all that is happening with the virus in Italy. With this virus affecting those with compromised health and the elderly Italy was a prime target.
