On the Thursday September 19 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper Brad Powers of BradPowersSports.com for this week’s Powers Picks segment. Adam and Brad hit on 15 college football games on this segment and also shed some light on the mess that is Week 3 in the NFL.

Game breakdowns on the college side included Utah vs. USC, Auburn vs. Texas A&M, Oklahoma State vs. Texas, and Notre Dame vs. Georgia as marquee games, but also lesser games like New Mexico State vs. New Mexico, Cal vs. Ole Miss, and West Virginia vs. Kansas. On the NFL side, Rams vs. Browns and Bears vs. Redskins were specifically addressed, but the whole NFL card was considered with all the QB injuries and everything else going on.
