Description
In this week's Beltway Beef podcast, we're joined by U.S. Sen. Mike Rounds of South Dakota. Sen. Rounds is Chairman of the Senate's Environment and Public Work's Subcommittee on Superfund, Waste Management, and Regulatory Oversight. Chairman Rounds today held a hearing about S. 2421, the Fair Agricultural Reporting Method (FARM) Act, which would prevent animal ag operations from being regulated as if they were toxic Superfund sites under the CERCLA law.
Chairman Rounds, a graduate of South Dakota State University, also discusses his SDSU Jackrabbits this week making it to the NCAA basketball tournament for the third straight year, as well as where to find the best steaks in the Mount Rushmore State.
