The world of Doctor Who was thrown aback this week with news that beloved television writer and novelist Terrance Dicks passed away at the age of 84. Dicks’ contribution to the show and indeed many of our childhoods can’t be overestimated, from his time working with Barry Letts during the 1970s to his prodigious run on the Target novelizations, “The Five Doctors”, the New Adventures…the mind reels.
