The city of Detroit just got grants from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy and the Recycling Partnership, a national nonprofit, to expand curbside recycling and recycling education. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer wants to boost Michigan’s abysmally low 15% recycling rate. We discuss.
