Description
Dorsey Schroeder is the Competition Director for the Chattanooga MotorCar Festival’s Time Trials. He is currently the Competition Director for the HSR and Trans-Am Chief Steward and since 2015, has served as Race Director for the World Challenge Series. As a member of the SCCA Hall of Fame, Dorsey’s career as a racecar driver has earned him 40 professional races in 242 starts including 17 Trans-Am Series wins. In 1971 at the age of 18, he became the first person under the age of 21 to be issued an SCCA National Competition License. He won numerous championships throughout the 90s and in recent years competed in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races at Daytona and Sebring in the Prototype class.
