Description

The Clemson Tigers continued their free fall in the AP Poll over the weekend as a 35 point win on the road at Louisville wasn’t enough to convince the AP voters that the ROY bus should remain parked in storage. As it turns out Clemson fans joked about it with each other themselves during a 1st half that saw Trevor Lawrence throw two interceptions and with the Tigers exiting up only 3 points more than Alabama was at the half, in Tuscaloosa, over a Tennessee team that had previously lost to Georgia State. And, yes, we acknowledge that Tua left midway through the 2nd half, but Chase Brice > Mac Jones.

And we know, we get it, it doesn’t matter. It’s just fun to pick apart the logic...

In this ep we reflect on Clemson’s 45-10 victory, the subsequent drop in the polls, and why you shouldn’t sucker punch someone who's wearing a protective polycarbonate helmet with titanium face mask #kirbynotsmart (5:15). We then touch on an offense that was far from perfect but still managed to rack up 551 yards (11:16) and discuss a quality effort from a defensive unit that continues to improve while also exceeding expectations (32:05). We wrap with a look around College Football in an attempt to determine if anybody has yet to actually play anyone, or if it’s really still just us and Alabama (48:45). Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!
