Description

Mr. Jason Davis is a martial arts practitioner and he is the founder of the Adaptive Martial Arts Association (AMAA). Not as much was known about disabilities then. And over the phone, my parents were told that I couldn't train and I never would be able to train and it didn't actually make sense. It was a pretty big blow and I didn't understand because that was the first time I was ever told that I couldn't do something. Mr. Jason Davis - Episode 466 Martial arts changed his life. That sums up what the journey is like for Mr. Jason Davis. He was born with cerebral palsy and he was thought of not going to survive by the doctors at that time. When Mr. Jason Davis was 8 years old, he was turned away from a martial arts school because of his condition. Today, he leads the Adaptive Martial Arts Association (AMAA), an organization he founded, which aims to help adaptive individuals to pursue their journies into the martial arts. Mr. Jason Davis's story is truly inspiring. Listen to find out more! Show Notes Learn more about the Adaptive Martial Arts Association (AMAA) here. Like and follow their Facebook page here.
