Description

They may play the best of frenemies on NBC Daytime's Days of Our Lives, but legions of fans are positively "Chill" with the possibilty of Chad and Will sharing more than a few benefits on the soap. On today's Daytime Confidential podcast, Luke and Jamey welcome Casey Deidrick and Chandler Massey, who this Saturday, March 12 at 7 pm PST, will co-host the hottest sketch comedy show in Los Angeles, ACME Saturday Night.
Casey and Chandler's co-hosting gig comes on the heels of their recent appearance in ACME's new improvisational showcase, Celebrity Improv Mashup. Are two of soaps fave teen hunks preparing for dual careers as comedians? You'll think so after this podcast.
Casey and Chandler also comment on the phenomenon that is "Chill", revealing their thoughts on the possibilty of their popular characters being Friends of Glee. Then they dish about the onscreen ladies in their lives, Camila Banus, who plays Will Horton's onscreen squeeze Gabi and newcomer Kate Mansi who plays Abby Deveraux, the newly-returned legacy character who has caught Chad's eye.
Chandler gives up deets on what it's like working opposite soap superstar Alison Sweeney, who plays his mom Sami on the sudser, while Casey reveals whether or not Joe Mascolo (Stefano) is as scary in real life as he seems on TV. Deidrick also waxes about working his new onscreen sibs James Scott (EJ) and Renee Jones (Lexie).
Luke gets to the bottom of why Chandler was given the nickname "Bam-Bam" in college, while Jamey and Chandler bond over their respective, brilliant turns in the cult musical Little Shop of Horrors. Jamey also gets Casey to open up about his real-life breakup with DAYS costar Molly Burnett (Melanie) and whether or not he'll be returning to the hilarious, webisoap Empire for another guest spot next season.
