There is wisdom held within Earth and her cycles that teach us how to be well, grow and transform. And since Earth-wisdom highlights the wisdom within our beings, doesn’t it make sense to start honoring both of these life-giving vessels as a means of honoring life, itself?

 

Mother Earth provides all of our essential nutrients; from the food she grows, to the waters held and the seasonal shifts that mirror our own processes of evolution. Even still, we’ve still gone down a path of neglecting her, which speaks so deeply to the relationships we have with our own bodies.

Rochelle Jamila Wilbun is a Brooklyn based Reiki practitioner, dancer, and doula originally from Memphis, TN. Her work explores healing through dance, voice, connecting to source and energetic alignment. Rochelle discovered energy healing two years ago as a means of healing her own trauma and imbalance, alongside other holistic wellness practices.
