This Week in Web News YouTube has just had a new UI released which is written in Polymer Stenciljs, “The magical, reusable web component generator.” announced at the Polymer Summit appears to be making waves in the Web Component community and we’ve just scheduled a podcast episode with the developers which should be released in the next couple of weeks! Node.js has been forked again over complaints of unresponsive leadership. The new project is called Ayo and is already available on GitHub: Google has just released a preview for ARCore and WebARCore for AR development on Android and on the web Apple has published guidelines for building Augmented Reality Interfaces to aid developers using ARKit Since last week four more frameworks have been added to custom-elements-everywhere, a website which scores JavaScript frameworks on their compatibility with Custom Elements.
