Description
Happy Opening Day everybody! Not only is it Opening Day for Major League Baseball, but it was also opening day for The Bettor’s Box. Our outstanding MLB betting podcast hosted by Adam Burke had its maiden voyage for the 2019 season today on BangTheBook Radio.
For returning listeners to The Bettor’s Box, thank you very much for coming back. For our new listeners, welcome to the show. We’re glad that you found us. This is unlike any other baseball show you are going to find out there. It is full of sabermetric analysis, but presented in an approachable way that makes it easier to understand.
On today’s edition of The Bettor’s Box, Adam discussed many of the sabermetric stats that he will use over the course of the season on the show and in the daily article. He also talked about the line moves that we’ve seen for Opening Day, a betting tip on favorites, his top pick for Thursday night, and also previewed the weekend ahead, with a focus on Indians vs. Twins, Pirates vs. Reds, Mets vs. Nationals, and Braves vs. Phillies.
This was more of an overview type of show without team performances and data to really analyze, but it was a good way to start the season and hopefully gave you a good idea of what you can expect in The Bettor’s Box.
