Description

This is a very fun Friday edition of Redskins Talk, listeners, so get ready. JP Finlay and an in-studio Rich Tandler open up with a brief intro before getting into a long interview with longtime NFL writer Don Banks, who is about as respected as they come in the business. As a Bostonian, Banks is a good guy to provide an outsider's opinion on the franchise, and he does so about their draft, Derrius Guice and the direction of the team. He's skeptical about Washington's choice not to draft Derwin James, for instance, but he's very impressed by what Jay Gruden has accomplished and thinks the coach should get more shine. After JP, Rich and Don's chat, the two pod hosts rank various minor injuries before getting confused about how to close things out, an exchange that Producer Pete leaves in for all the listeners to hear. If you like podcasts where Rich misses his La-Z-Boy and JP really defends Jay Gruden, then this is the episode for you.
