Description

August 24, 2017 The Path Podcast Show Page ABOUT THIS EPISODE: Rob Roskopp is in the house, so no shop news, straight into Rob's stories and how he landed at Santa Cruz Bicycles.  The story starts like all good stories: a 19 year old boy takes $600, buys a Greyhound ticket and heads west to see California. Rob couch surfs with his skater buddies, gets some sponsorships, get a job with Santa Cruz Skateboards, and gets on his own two feet. Tune in to hear how he evolved from skateboard pro, to skateboard brand manager, to bike guy. Rob reminisces about the first Santa Cruz model, how it was made in carbon way back in '95, and how they evolved to where they are today. No listener questions this show.
