Description

Thanks for downloading WEDWay Radio, a show about Disney history, Disney Parks and touring.  This is episode 119 - 30 Years of Discovery:  From Progress City to Epcot Center.
This show continues our look at Epcot Centers 30th Anniversary by looking at the 5 decades of Epcot.  In this particular show we take a look at what happened between Walts original of E.P.C.O.T. with the city of the future to the theme park that we ended up getting.  There were many starts and stops in this process and the entire Walt Disney World property was considered for this project.
We take a look at how Disney evolved its ideas to create Future World, and World Showcase, the key players involved in Epcots evolution and the final product as they saw it in 1978.
Many thanks to Michael Crawford at ProgressCityUSA.com, and the great Epcot centered posts that we used for research on this episode.
Enjoy this show because it was a lot of fun to create.
