THE SOUP SHOW celebrates the 30th anniversary of Women's History Month, and the three writer/performers, Desiree Burch, Cara Francis and Erika Livingston stop by to talk about their racy and provocative production. The Prospect Theatre Company's new musical, THE HIDDEN SKY is underway, and we talk with Composer/Lyricist Peter Foley and Book Writer Kate Chisholm about their futuristic musical based on a short story by Ursula LeGuin as well as hear a couple of songs from the show. The Queen's Company is known for their all-female productions of classical plays, and they are back with THE WONDER. Director Rebecca Patterson and actors Virginia Baeta and Abbi Hawk stop by to chat about their production, what it means to be in an all-female cast, and stigmas still facing women playwrights. Marty Cooper is back with ON THE POSITIVE SIDE Diagnosed with HIV about three years ago, Dan Horrigan has turned his experiences into a one-person show, MY AiDS, as a fundraiser for various LGBT groups in the NY Metro area. He discusses his journey as well as his group, At Hands Theatre Company. STUCK, (presented by Bulldog Theatrical) a play about people stuck in a dead-end job in the middle of nowhere, is currently running through this weekend. Director Marshall Pailet and Actors Kate MacCluggage and Athena Masci discuss the show and their own experiences (or lack thereof) of their own similar situations.
