More often than not, to hunt and kill the deer you have your sights on, takes far more than one day. For Neil Pendleton, the deer of a lifetime took much longer, 1489 more days to be exact.  It was all worth it and the journey was more of a lesson in whitetail behavior, reinforcing the concept of hunting smarter, not harder.
