Description
The sermon was delivered on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Marlin Lavanhar, Senior Minister.
SERMON DESCRIPTION
At All Souls there is a painting hanging in the foyer that tells the story of our church. Over the years I have found it to be one of the most compelling and memorable ways to describe All Souls to visitors and those who inquire about us. In this beautiful image you will find the basics of our history, our values, our theology and what we hold most dear as a community.
On Sunday I will share that picture and that story with you in a way that you can use to tell your family and friends and others who may ask you. The painting, like our world, is filled with simple gifts that are free and available as long as we help keep them alive.
