Description

The sermon was delivered on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, Senior Minister. SERMON DESCRIPTION On the first Sunday of 2018, let's look at what it means to begin again in love. How do we “turn over a new leaf” and experience “all things new”? Often we long for a new beginning but have trouble letting go of the past. The turn of the calendar year is a chance to begin again. A new year gives us a new starting line if we choose to make it one. We have a choice to live intentionally or to allow ourselves to be carried along or controlled by the people, events, and agendas of those around us. The new year is a time to go inward and reach deeper within. Let's take this great opportunity to sharpen our intentions and take greater control of our lives.
