Description
The message was delivered on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Steven L. Williams, Pastoral Care Chaplain, at the Humanist Service. MESSAGE DESCRIPTION Adults do not play nearly enough. We forget that fun, joy, creativity, and silliness bring us closer to our essential nature. Children know this intuitively. They use play for everything. Play not only helps them figure out their world, but who they are and where they fit in that world. If you look at your favorite ways of playing as a child, you may see the roots of what brings you the most joy today. Sometimes we need help remembering how to play. *The service includes music performed by Jared Tyler, guest musician (guitar and vocals).
