Description
Adam Greentree is the most famous bow-hunter in Australia. He’d pinch me if he heard me say that, but there are just some things that are undeniable. Adam spends more time in the Australian bush than anyone I know — to call his camp and lifestyle inspirational would be an understatement… they’re life-changing. Adam traded in his rifle for a bow when he was seventeen. After a year of working in a slaughterhouse, his decision to hunt his own meat was further ingrained into his life and beliefs. Granted, Australia is unique to the world. The majority of hunted animals are feral, and are therefore culled by the government in major quantities. Adam works hard to promote bow hunting as a means to get outside, to appreciate where our food comes from, and to promote conservation in ways that may not be glaringly obvious to a closed mind… at first. We sit down in this episode of Anchored to try and change that. This episode of Anchored is sponsored by www.yeti.com. You can find Adam on Instagram at Adam.greentree.bowhunting
