The Allen’s name is synonymous with the Kispiox Valley.  Known for their long-standing history with the wilderness and one of BC’s most special steelhead fisheries, they’re just as well-known for their angling skill, conservation efforts, and “to the point” discussion.  I sat down with Gene Allen at Bear Claw Lodge on the Kispiox River to learn about his upbringing, bucking horses, and how he got into fishing.
