Description
Shannon McPhail is the sort of woman you want on your team. Born and raised in Northern BC, the Skeena river runs through her backyard and her bloodline, making her one of the most passionate and knowledgable activists I’ve met. Shannon is the executive director for the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition and is at the forefront of speaking up against the latest approved LNG plant proposed to go on Lelu Island — the Skeena’s estuary and Canada's most important wild salmon habitat. I met with Shannon at her home in Hazelton to learn more about the specifics and how I could help. This episode is dedicated to BC's wild steelhead.
