There is also some interesting data about Detroit's suburbs. - A new study says the Detroit region ranks 11th out of the top 50 U.S. metropolitan regions for clean-energy jobs. - The Michigan Strategic Fund has approved nearly $5.7 million in loans for a new hotel project in the lower Cass Corridor. - Former U.S. Representative John Dingell was released from the hospital on Tuesday, a little more than a week after being admitted for a heart attack. - Michigan breweries took home nine medals including one gold from the 32nd annual Great American Beer Festival last weekend in Denver. - There will be a one-day haunted house at Michigan Central Station, put on by the Ford Foundation.
