Jared joined Capital Group in 2015. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Illinois and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. Jeff Garcia is an equity investment analyst at Capital Group. He covers consumer discretionary, financials, health care and information technology in Latin America. He has seven years of investment experience, all with Capital Group. He holds a bachelors degree from Stanford University. Shannon is a fixed income portfolio manager at Capital Group. She has 25 years of investment industry experience, including one year with Capital Group. Previously, she worked as a portfolio manager with Oaktree Capital Management. She holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a bachelors degree from University of California, Santa Barbara.
