On this episode of the Droid Life Show, we're hypebeasting the Google event that'll go down on October 4! Crazy to think that we are only 2 days away from the madness.

Since we're fully expecting to see the new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, Pixelbook, Google Home Mini, and a new Daydream View all on stage at some point, we thought we'd catch everyone up on what's new. Let's also not forget that there could be some surprises, perhaps in the form of Android 8.1, a new Pixel experience update (like a new launcher), Google Assistant heading to Chromebooks, and more. We also want to talk about Amazon's new Echo line-up and Fire TV 4K, plus some other happenings from around the tech world.
