What you need to know These cheap chinese radios are a bargain. For under $30, you can pick up a two way radio from Amazon that will cover the VHF and UHF spectrum. If you are a licensed amateur radio operator, this radio can save you a pretty penny if you are just starting out in the hobby. But many people buy these as extra radios and may use them as scanners. Today, I've reviewed the basics on these cheap radios and why many are buying them. I also explain what to look out for and some warning when purchasing these.
