As always we say, proceed with caution when it comes to trends. What goes up, must come down, so if it's trendy now, it won't be in 5 years.  We suggest sticking to classics when it comes to big ticket items like tile, sofas, and counter-tops. If you want to add something trendy to your home, try adding inexpensive accents that you can give away when the trend is over.
