Description
On today’s episode of the Journeywomen podcast, I’m chatting with Jill Atogwe on the topic of submission. We talked about everything from submitting to the Lord, to how doing so actually enables us to joyfully submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Here’s what Jill said about doing that, “Submission is an ugly word in the culture. People don’t want to say it, people certainly don’t want to do it, but we are all created equal. It’s not to say that anyone is less-than. We are all created equal in the image of God, and yet, we willing choose to submit to one another out of love for Christ and each other.” So you’ll know her a little better, Jill is the woman behind the lifestyle blog Gold & Graphite and her goal is to make her life beautiful and glorify God with everything he has entrusted to her. She has been married to her husband Oshiomogho, for 7 years and she is mama to her 3.5 year old son, Oshiolema, and her nearly-2-year-old daughter, Keogena. I can’t wait for you to hear from her today!
