Description

Alex Williamson, Chief Brand Officer for Bumble (@Bumble) joins us to discuss the women-first social networking app, with over 55 million users, that connects people across dating, friendship and professional networking. Bumble has partnerships with the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers and with tennis icon and CEO Serena Williams. The Bumble Fund launched in 2018 with a mission to invest in underrepresented women founders, and to reconsider the venture ecosystem with women in mind. Williamson discusses how Bumble is empowering women in dating, business and finding friends. She was one of the company’s original employees when Bumble launched in 2014 and she now oversees everything related to the Bumble brand. Since 2014, Bumble has facilitated over half a billion women-led first moves and the app is now being used in 150 countries around the world. Bumble is free and available in the App Store and Google Play.
