The Liquid Muse Home Bar Basics
__________
The nursery is baby’s nest, haven, safety zone. In the coming months you’ll pick the perfect crib, changing table, and hanging mobile. You’ll stock up on diapers, wet wipes, and onesies. You’ll buy bottles, bags, and baby baubles. Baby’s happy place
will be ready and waiting. Meanwhile, you deserve your very own chill-out zone at your Preggatini Home Bar!

BAR SPOON: This looks like a teaspoon with a very long stem, ideal for stirring ingredients in a tall glass. A household option would be a teaspoon or iced-tea spoon.
CITRUS PRESS: This is a handheld tool used to squeeze juice from lemons and limes. Simply cut the citrus in half, place the cut side down over the holes, and press. If you don’t have one, simply squeeze by hand.

JIGGER: Used for measuring small amounts of liquid. These come in different sizes, and the large side of an hour-glass-shaped jigger measures double the small side. A household option would be measuring spoons used for baking.
MUDDLER: This is basically a pestle with a longer handle so it can reach to the bottom of a mixing glass. Muddle
by pressing the fruit, herbs, etc., in a downward, rotating motion to release their oils, juices, and flavors. If you don’t have one, simply use the round part of a tablespoon or the handle of spatula to crush the
