About this ebook

Dr. Sydney Anne Friel awakens from a century-long coma and discovers the world has changed a lot in that time. She is greeted by her personal Android Gabrielle who does her best to relate the astonishing things that have transpired over past the decades.

Gabrielle tells Sydney things about the android's abilities and programming, an almost unbelievable scenario where every wish, desire, or fantasy is satisfied by the stunningly built android. The feature that interests Sydney the most is the android's ability to change shape. Gabrielle is also connected to Sydney's brainwaves so knows what the human wants without asking.

Following a very erotic bath, Gabrielle, or Gabby proceeds to demonstrate her skills in the erotic arts that most arouse the human female. Sydney easily succumbs to every debauch activity that Gabby presents to her, as the human is convinced, she is safe in the hands of the sexy android. Unknown to Sydney is that the android holds something very dark buried away in her memory banks. And that they could manifest themselves at any time.

    Chapter One

It had been years since BOX-07x9 had seen her kind alive. It all started with the eco-virus. Brought about by a group of scientists who thought the virus was non-toxic. so they let it loose on Earth. Unfortunately, they neglected to test the results on humans who were amid pollution. Although the eco-sphere eventually would return to its pristine state, that was preceded by years of cataclysmic upheaval and the result for all humans within Earth's atmosphere was disastrous. In seconds they all were liquefied.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a white-hot explosion. She shielded her eyes with her arm, too little too late, and was thrown into the air. When she woke up, half her face had melted away and most of the flesh was gone from her arm. The sounds of war had been silenced.

She wandered through the debris for days, kicking through the rubble where buildings used to stand. She turned over a sheet of metal with the point of her gun. Beneath it was a twisted figure. Its pupils shrunk at the light and it lay twitching in a tangle of broken and fused limbs. It tried to speak but emitted only choking static.

She put the gun to the creature's blackened, hairless head and pulled the trigger.

She still saw figures skulking through shadows. She heard footsteps disturb the rubble behind her, in front of her, all around. She saw the glint of wide eyes in the darkness. They were watching her.

But their minds were ruined. All that remained in them was the will to survive, and an instinct that told them to stay away from her – that she was one of the dangerous things. That instinct had served her well
