THIS BOOK IS DEDICATED to Max Lewis, the longest running Area Director for Wycliffe Associates at 34 plus years, having recently retired. Max was the Iron Man of Wycliffe Associates with a record of service that will never be broken. It is estimated that Max has driven more than 1,000,000 miles and raised multiplied millions of dollars all for the sake of Bible translation and furthering the Kingdom of God.

It is remarkable to consider that Max has presented nearly TWO THOUSAND! banquets over the years, reaching hundreds of thousands of people along the way. His loyalty, commitment, sacrifice, dedication and consistency over the years have been a model for the entire organization.

Of course, we would be remiss not to mention his better half, his right-hand woman and wife of 54 years, Carolyn. Together, they will leave a legacy with Wycliffe Associates that will never be duplicated, nor will it ever be forgotten.
