The Logic of Aquarius: A Socio-Astrological Study of The American Society
()
About this ebook
Humanity has ever been an entity of nature, interwoven among its ever-changing materialism. It has only been the human being, which has created a thought process that has demonstrated the ability to develop a culture. Through the ages, man has developed a fantastic array of beliefs, some of which have been accepted as practical from the beginning. From his brain has come the divergence of religions that are as diverse as humanity. This book deals with aspects of nature which are entwined with religious beliefs that have become commonplace, yet differ whereby a vast number of beliefs have endured beyond the concepts of the major religions. The beliefs of each profess the right concepts. From man's earliest beliefs have grown the concepts of astrology. Of all belief systems, this is the only one that does not have a higher administrative formality, the foundation of a system of thought and reaction to beliefs of a great being as God. It is the least comprehensive work with the greatest degree of nonbelievers. Yet, it has been researched over generations with the exploration of the reasoning of humanity and is the least comprehended. Many disbelieve astrology yet still refer to the signs of the zodiac by birthday. This book attempts to relate the interrelationship of nature, religion, and astrology.

The Emblem
The emblem is constructed in perspective. The cross is the dark cross of matter under which humanity at present is suffering: it is in the foreground, close to us, and therefore appears to be quite large. Behind the cross is the disk of the Great Spirit, our Almighty God, who is directing our lives and progress through the great twelves, the hierarchies, denoted by the twelve groups of rays.
The disk and the rays appear smaller than the cross because of the vast distance between them. Perspective makes them look that way, while in reality, they are enormously larger, as the power of God is so much greater than our troubles.

Introduction
For thousands of years, man has tried to find the reason for his existence and if there is a certain purpose to his life. Philosophers and teachers of religions have spent lifetimes trying to find answers to these questions, to improve existing cultures, elevate mankind to a higher level, and point the way to a happy, purposeful life. Several systems have been and are still being tried; wars have been and are still being fought to maintain or to establish some system or culture.
According to Plato in his summary of The Republic Book 8, Socrates said in sequences, The oligarchic constitution degenerates into democracy (the rule of the people) when the poor in the oligarchic state revolt. All are then set free to do as they wish and,
said Socrates in effects, go to the devil in their own way.
How does this compare to our own democracy? Was Socrates right in his definition that democracy is not the ideal state but in reality a degenerate system?
Let us take a stroll around to see what is going on and review and analyze our achievements.
A great amount of dissatisfaction can be noticed and an endeavor to break down existing order and traditions. Newspaper accounts of many transgressions of every kind are filling the pages day after day. We can find anything from inconsiderate, thoughtless action to all kinds of major crimes, starvation, distressed and desperate people in slums, and their various means of trying to evade reality. Almost daily demonstrations are calling our attention to these conditions. When all this is pointed out to us, we feel hurt in our pride in our fixed belief that we belong to the greatest, most prosperous, and omnipotent society. The truth often hurts. This is a warning that something is wrong and must be corrected. Pain is also nature's warning signal whenever a physical disorder is imminent. Disregarding the warning may cause severe illness and possibly death.
History tells us of the sickness and death of many a great nation and prosperous society, attaining some height of culture, then sickness and death when the system had become more and more corrupt, always the same pattern, the pattern which we are now following.
If the establishment of civilization has been the aim, and in thousands of years nothing better has been achieved, then the lessons of history have not been learned, and mankind is not as intelligent as we like to believe.
We are now at the threshold of a so-called New Age, the Age of Aquarius, which will last approximately 2,160 years. The exact time of the beginning of this Age has not been determined, although its influence can be notices years before the turn of the century. Every New Age makes itself felt long before its exact beginning.
Every New Age prompts mankind to try new ways to solve its problems and to make necessary changes with possibly new principles and evaluations of the adhered-to standards.

Education
Where knowledge is wanting, lessons will have to be learned. For this purpose, we have our much-vaunted system of education. This system is supposedly directed to meet the requirements of our culture and to prepare for future work, in the best way. Much stress is laid on its value and necessity, to the extent that many young people who do have not the potential for higher education enter colleges and universities with the main idea to gain knowledge for a profession solely to be able to acquire wealth within a short time, the demanded service and ethics of the chosen profession being of secondary, if any, consideration. For many, therefore, the receipt of a diploma is more important than the knowledge itself.
We notice mere and more dissatisfaction with the management and curricula of colleges and universities. Students throughout the country have demonstrated this in various ways, demanding changes and improvements. Very little respect is shown. Many young people over twenty years of age come out of these schools with theoretical knowledge. Modern technological know how often has to be acquired on the future job. But whatever knowledge people gain in schools or at work, none seems to equip them with any acceptable ideas of how to correct the faults of our culture.
As human beings, we are part of the Lord's own creation and made to fit into and live with nature. Nature provides the necessary matter, and while we are to develop spiritually, in knowledge and ability, is it not logical therefore to look to nature to show us how to live in and with nature? Putting this theory to the test, we shall find all the requirements of civilization demonstrated in nature's own school. We shall notice beneficial and adverse influences and their results and effects. Nature will show us the reasons for conditions and ways to improve them. It will be wise to accept nature, being the Lord's creation, as the best school existing and far superior to man's institutions. The school of nature is always open, and everyone is welcome; there will be no favoritism, no diploma to be acquired, and no cheating possible. But we shall see actual demonstrations and gain knowledge of cause and effect in this most perfect system ever to be devised.
As we proceed step by step through the various aspects of nature in comparison to our own accepted theories, it will be well to keep an open, unbiased mind. We have to guard ourselves against being fooled into believing that anything must be right because we have been taught that it was so and have become accustomed to it. When our sentiments or emotions enter into our judgment, they can easily become faulty.
Underlying the Lord's creation is a complete and perfect plan, and it is with profound awe and admiration that one perceives its grandeur and magnificence. Here is an economy so perfect that not the least is ever lost or wasted but used and reused through nature's chemistry. Let us see how this system works. Nature itself, efficiently taking care of its many billions of creatures, from the tiniest which cannot even be seen with unaided eyes to
