About this ebook
In a quest driven by insatiable curiosity, Lillian ventured into the shadows of a haunting mystery-the truth behind a shark attack that had sent ripples of fear through coastal communities years ago. Little did she anticipate the depths of peril concealed beneath the surface, as her pursuit of truth transformed into a harrowing journey where the predators she sought to understand proved to be as elusive and dangerous as the enigma itself.
As Lillian unraveled the layers of the past, she found herself entangled in a web of secrets that stretched from the depths of the ocean to the heart of a coastal town scarred by the memory of that fateful day. Each revelation pushed her further into uncharted waters, where the line between truth and fiction blurred like the horizon on the open sea.
Simultaneously, across the ocean, Emma and Jonathan embarked on a seemingly innocent voyage to celebrate Emma's birthday. The sun bathed the waves in a golden glow, and laughter danced in the sea breeze. However, unbeknownst to them, the kings of the seas, cold-blooded sharks, lurked beneath, drawn by the scent of celebration and joy.

Shark Summer - Rania Butt
Chapter 1
Emma finally made her way onto the sleek black swan yacht, her friend Brook eagerly awaiting her arrival. Emma, let’s go already,
Brook’s voice echoed across the deck. I’m coming, just need to load the rest of the stuff!
Emma yelled back, ensuring her friend could hear over the maritime ambiance.
Emma possessed a striking appearance, characterized by her long, flowing hair that framed her face with an effortless grace. Her model-like build added an extra layer of allure, blending elegance with a subtle confidence. The blue doe eyes, pools of depth and curiosity, contrasted beautifully against her freckled skin, creating a captivating and unique combination that hinted at both sophistication and a touch of whimsy. In the midst of luxury and celebration, Emma’s physical features stood out, adding to the enigma that surrounded her.
As Emma joined the festivities, her mind wandered through the intricacies of her upbringing. Privilege had surrounded her, presenting the glitz and glam typical of a wealthy upbringing. Money had granted her not only material possessions but also an entourage of fake friends and servants. Yet, amidst the opulence, true connections eluded her – friendship and love remained elusive.
Over the years, Emma grew accustomed to the superficiality, developing an emotional numbness to the concepts of love and friendship. She morphed into the stereotype of a rich snob, indifferent to the judgments of others.
So, guess what? Today’s my birthday, and I’m going to go all out,
Emma contemplated as she completed her packing, preparing for the extravagant celebration aboard the yacht. The anticipation fuelled her as she stepped onto the vessel.
Ahoy, matey,
Jack’s scruffy voice attempted a pirate impression, leaving Emma unimpressed. Uh huh,
she responded nonchalantly, walking past him with a dismissive air. Intrigued by Brook’s choice of bringing her boy toy
on the trip, Emma couldn’t help but wonder about the dynamics at play.
